The inspiration for these paper butterfly puppet patterns was to give one of my actors in my gnome musical a special moment to dance.
 
These butterflies are great to use in plays to add living texture to a forest, garden or fairy sanctuary. They’re simple to make, but if you’re working with younger students, they may need supervision.
 
There is the option for students to design their own butterfly, colour a pre-existing pattern, or work with the pre-coloured butterflies.
