Musical Theatre Camp Registration

Please read through the entire form and answer all the following questions to ensure your child has a safe and fun experience at theatre camp!


REGISTRATION DEADLINE:

Camp Details

DATES: July 7 - 18 (excluding weekends)


WHERE: Ecole Stella Maris, 288 Peter Dugas Rd, Meteghan, NS B0W 2J0


AGES: 6-15 (exceptions for 5 year olds with siblings in camp)


TIME: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m


Cost: $450 for the two weeks (early bird discount $410 until May 20th)


Each role is written and curated to the campers specific talents, requests and desires. 


During our two weeks of camp, participants can expect to:

  • Learn singing techniques (harmonies, projection and more!)

  • Develop performance abilities and stage presence

  • Make their own props and set pieces

  • Get plenty of individual singing and performance guidance 

  • Play improv games

  • Have fun, play and so much more!

At the end of our two weeks, children will have the opportunity to perform the musical for an audience of friends and family!

Does camper have any allergies (i.e. pets, food, environment, medication)?
Does camper have any medical (or other) information we should be made aware of?
Do you give permission to Micaela's Musical Theatre Camp to take photos of your child during class?
The final performance will be recorded and put unlisted on Youtube for parents to access (only first names in the credits). If you would like to opt out of having your child's name in the credits altogether, please check “no”.

I hereby give permission for my child to participate in musical theatre day camp with Micaela Comeau.

I declare that I am the parent or legal guardian of the above-named child. In the event my child is injured or should require medical attention, I hereby request that you contact me or our emergency contact. In the event that we cannot be reached, I hereby authorize the workers at Micaela's Musical Theatre Camp to secure necessary medical treatment for my child. I further acknowledge that I will be responsible for any medical or hospital fees or costs associated with my children's medical treatment.

RELEASE FROM LIABILITY. 

DREAM CASTING:

Please answer the following questions with your child so we can take their requests into consideration when creating the musical. (Requests won't all be accommodated, however we will do our best to incorporate as much as possible.)

Amount of lines (have camper consider how much time they want to put in practising and how challenging it is for them to memorize lines)
Singing (all campers will sing in a group, however some may want the opportunity to have their voices featured alone in a solo.)

(This helps Micaela know their range and better where to place them. This also helps campers get used to the audition process!)

VIDEO EXAMPLE:

"My name is... and today I will sing for you my favourite song..."

Cancellation policy:

Because these musicals are written and catered to suit the specific needs of each camper, this requires preparation long before camp starts. 

If the camper pulls out of camp by June the 1st, you will receive a full refund with a service fee of $30.


If the camper pulls out of camp by May 5th, you will receive a 50% refund.


If the camper pulls out 48 hours or less before camp, no refund will be issued.
